Nutritious Water

Instead of buying soda, seltzer or juices, try making your own delicious water by using whatever fruits you have in the fridge. Here is a link to great ideas and instructions on how to make it: http://www.theyummylife.com/Flavored_Water. It's easy, yummy and nutritious.

My sample from this morning:

Ingredients:
1 pear
1 lemon
1 stem of mint leaves
2 handfuls of raspberry
3 drops of lavender essential oil
1 cup of ice
Filtered water to taste

First, place thinly sliced pear and lemon at the bottom of the pitcher.  Next, place the mint and ice on top followed by raspberry and lavender oil.  Then, fill up the pitcher with water and leave in the fridge for a few hours. Drink it within in the next three days.

P. S. after you drank all the water, use left over fruits in your morning smoothie!

Healthy, tasty and better for the environment.

  1. Btw, Iater, when the water was all gone, I took the soft fruits left overs that still have some flavor and put them into gluten free pancakes. It gave them soft citrucy flavor ... It turned out very yummy!
